Graphics card will always make the biggest difference. I'd start there. RAM is also a cheap and easy upgrade but doesn't make that big a difference. Some games are starting to need 16GB though.

Thanks guys. If I end up rolling the dice, I'll report back on whether it works. Surprised @elko84 said that there aren't codes because that's what I've seen most reported elsewhere, but he certainly might be right. I'm on PS4.

Apologies if this has already been covered but I haven't been able to find a clear answer. I currently own digital vanilla destiny without any of the expansions. If I buy the Taken King legendary on disc, can I just use the game codes for the expansions and continue to play destiny digitally? Wondering because if that'll work, I'll trade in the disk to offset some of the cost.
