I'm sure most of us will agree that the PS2 is/was a god among consoles, just like the PS1 before it.  The staying power of the PS2 is quite extraordinary, considering when the 360 came out, the original Xbox seemed to spontaneously drop dead.  Whereas, the PS2 is still doing quite well, with quite a few developers still putting out games for it and the fact that when the PS3 was released, the PS2 was actually out selling it!

It probably goes without saying that I still love and play my PS2 A LOT and even when/if I have completely moved on to current consoles, I will still have a very special place in my heart for it.  Whether, the PS3 will have the same awe-inspiring success that the PS2 had, remains to be seen...
