20+ years of watching gerstmann and his crew, but starting to feel like there's less and less reason to keep watching given who is monopolizing a lot of screentime... just my honest 2 cents. My idea of entertainment is not watching somebody screeching for no reason.
@blackichigo: No, it's really not. I'm not part of the LGBT+ community, but I deal very carefully in any discussion around issues related to hate against that group. Same thing with other races i'm not a part of, or sexual orientations, or whatever else it may be.
Saying "well they never experienced it so...." is basically arguing that human empathy isn't a thing, and that unless you've personally experienced it, it's impossible to be measured in your discussion of it. That's ridiculous.
I really liked the part where they casually skimmed over guidelines meant to address online racial hate, as though this isn't like a real problem and maybe taking a light-hearted approach to the discussion is just normalizing it further.
Nothing like a room full of people of one colour, laughing about this stuff that will rarely impact them (Abby's totally valid, gender-based negative experiences aside).
