Some actual couples in video games

Relationships are something aren't they? Especially when your meant to deal with some big important problem with the world while either trying to hold onto a relationship or end up falling in love along the way. In either case, these are just a few actual relationships in games done well.

Also just a to point out, i'm choosing not to put anything from final fantasy on this list. Nothing against the series, its just most of there ideas of romance are very... mushy.

  I would argue to say that one of the most dramatic moments in all of Gears of war. Was the moment when Dom Discovered his wife was one of the humans who were captured by the locust. But upon discovery finds that she is nearly catatonic and gives her a merciful death.

  Okay, so there relationship wasn't the best and could have ended better, especially without the whole pillow thing. But James commitment and regret show that he had deep connection to mary, so much so that he was made himself forget what he did to her out of guilt. The game itself reflects this with its cast who reflect a similar idea of regret and disconnection. Silent hill's fog being something of an allegory clouding up memories and even the monsters formed as symbolic manifestations of James shame and need to punish himself.

  But there relationship is strong based on there last interaction and that in relationship, people will argue while doing and saying things they never meant out of emotional stress.
