Does anyone ever find that sometimes if there on edge (not 3g) there internet will just randomly stop working, any fixes?

I just saw Sicko by Micheal Moore that talks about the American health care system. I dont want to belive everything that man sells because he has been proven wrong on numerous occasions. Is it really as bad as hes claiming it to be?
