Ater hearing so much praise for Plants vs Zombies on the PC, my expectations were pretty high for the Iphone version.  
Playing nonstop since the time I bought it, its pretty safe to say that this game had me hooked like a zombie on brains.

 One of the things that Pop Cap does extremely well is taking simple ideas and turning them into addiction masterpieces. 
You have a garden and Zombies are invading.  Naturally the best way to put a halt to any invasion is to plant projectile shooting  
flora. Your arsenal of plants include everything from “Peashooters” to “Wallnuts”. Peashooters shoot peas, Wallnuts stop invading  
brain-pickers, and Cherry Bombs are, well bombs. Sunflowers and Sunshrooms give you sun which is used to buy plants and other tools. 

 Each level starts with you, your plants, the zombies, an the area you must defend. Your lawn isn't the only place zombies attack as  
to move to fortify your backyard and even your roof. Fog and other map effects challenge you and keep the levels from feeling stale. 
Each level also contain its own “mini game” sort of sequences. Long periods of play are broken up by bowling for zombies, or whack a 
zombie.

 The main stars of this show are not the plants but their undead opposites. I wish that I could name all the zombies right here. The 
creativity and just great  humor can be seen from zombies like the Ducky Tube Zombie, the Zomboni, or the Dancer Zombie that does a  
totally coincidental dance similar to a certain pop star *HintThrillerHint *. An in-game almanac gives you the names of every plant  
and zombie. Each description is short and cleverly written and left me smirking every time. Why does Buckethead Zombie wear a bucket 
on his head? Only the almanac knows.

Touch controls for placing zombies on you lawn are surprisingly accurate for the most part. The art looks vibrant and colorful while  
looking fine on the Iphone. The game struggles with frame rate when when multiple zombies appear and  my gauntlet of flower power  
fills the screen. The adventure mode ends reactivity quick for me but that is reminded with a quick play mode and an extended  
adventure mode that sets random handicaps

Pop Cap struck gold with Plants vs Zombies on the computer, The mobile version is no different. For those who want pixel perfect  
looks and mouse controls then maybe the PC version is for you. But any fan who wants zombie killing fun on the go this is your game.  
Now excuse me while my Squash squashes some more Football Zombies.
