I had no real problems with the list. Dream Daddy had two people on staff hold it in high regard, so I think number 10 on a group list is fair, no? As to hyperbolic statements during the discussion, most of us would be prone to hyperbole if we spent a week arguing. As always Giantbomb thanks for the entertaining and thought provoking podcasts.
I think the Best World category turned it to best open world/level design that encouraged exploration. My initial impression of the award was inline with what Jeff though it was, a sort of would you read a book set in or about this universe. For example I'm reading a book called World of Android which is a collection of short stories set in the same world as a number of table top games are set in.
Almost everyone on staff seemed to know what was going on so at least there was some consensus. The discussion of what the category is, was may favorite part of the day 3 deliberations.
