You could watch the videos but the OWS protestors want the banks to be regulated, they want corporate tax loops to be closed and they want the money to be taken out of politics which is the root of corruption in our government today.Their message isn't "we hate the rich, give us a handout",their message is "We have no problem with their being rich people,we understand that their is always going to be a poor, middle and rich class,we just don't want the rich to abuse the system to get even richer while we get poorer and poorer."That's it,that's their message and that's their objective:Get rid of the corruption in our government and close the gap between the rich and poor.@popmasterruler said:

I already posted a video of what their objective is on page 2:@darkdragonmage99 said:
the fact that OWS members heckled people going to work, obstructed roadways and disrupted the flow of commerce.
Umm is that not what a protest is suppose to do ? Is that not what workers do every time they go on strike? I'm guessing you are anti union and care more about the law then if the law is just or not.
They are not supposed to heckle people that have nothing to do with their idiocy. Or rather, heckling people just to bring attention to your protest is juvenile and moronic. If anything, it makes people turn away from your message/cause in my experience.
Teachers went on strike and guess what? They left everyone alone and did their thing. No disruption, vandalism or heckling of average people who have nothing to do with their bullshit.
I think a strike is more effective if the people don't piss everyone else off that isn't within their protest. Sure, they have to piss off the people they are protesting against I suppose, but aggravating average citizens who just want to go to work and have nothing to do with them is moronic and unnecessary. There are other, more effective, less idiotic ways of getting the attention of the people in charge.
Such as peaceably assembling and possessing a defined objective for your protest/strike and showing outsiders that you are an organized mature group of people. Neither of which the OWS movement as a whole does/did.
Even though this statement has nothing to do with my post: Yes, I am fairly anti-union as it stands today.
and here's another one if you need it to be even clearer:Or you could just type it. So it is super clear!
Who are you referring to when you state "we".
Do you mean the country?
Here is some data regarding those over privileged rich bastards who are escaping taxes.
"The latest data shows that a big portion of the federal income tax burden is shoulĀdered by a small group of the very richest Americans. The wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 perĀcent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percentāthose below the median income levelānow earn 13 percent of the income but pay just 3 percent of the taxes. These are proportions of the income tax alone and donāt include payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare.
The top 5 percent pay well over half the income taxes.
What is significant is that for the top 5 percent and 10 percent of earners, the ratio of taxes paid compared with income earned has risen. For example, in 1980, the top 10 percent earned 32 percent of the income and paid 44 percent of the taxesāa ratio of 1.4. In 2004, this group earned more of the income (44 percent) but paid a lot more of the taxes (68 percent)āa ratio of 1.6. In other words, progressivityāin terms of share of total taxes paidāhas risen. On the other hand, for the top 1 percent of earners, progressivity has declined from a ratio of 2.2 in 1980 to 1.9 in 2004."
Ā
Well now I've found some things that say the exact opposite of what you said:
