Subpar music quality

Earlier this week my friend gave me a ride to the closest Sprint store from my university which was 30 minutes away. He plugged his mp3 player in to play some tunes and while the music was good (Bloc Party FTW) the audio quality was terrible for a good amount of the songs. My ears hurt for a while and it made me realize that getting free music is not worth it. I know that a lot of people could careless about their music as long as they get it for free, but it is such a better experience getting a good mp3 file off the amazon store it. Going through Frostwire and looking through a bunch of versions of the same song for a good one and the lingering chance that one of those files could have a virus is no fun. Even if you don't care about all the work that goes into making the music you listen to. At least buy music for the guarantee of better sounding songs.
