To The Top is real real good. Bummed that Jeff stopped when he did, the next level "Slides" is one of the favorites I've played so far. It has a bunch of sliding down chutes and flinging yourself through the air. It was really fun to play over and over until I got the 3rd gold for speed.
Awesome, I am really glad you like "Slide" I made that level after playing Uncharted 4 and seeing all the cool sections they had with sliding. I also wanted to make sure we could cover the base mechanics that can be done in the Uncharted series...in first person VR... on a independent budget haha.
To the Top seems neat, makes me wonder if they could do a VR Mount Your Friends or something like that
Haha We never thought of this but maybe? We do plan on experimenting with multiplayer when we get the base racing done, I will keep this in mind until then.
Holy shit, they were playing a song by Capyac in To the Top! They've played at mine and my friends' house parties in the past! I wonder if they're about to get big...
EDIT: Just looked up Electric Hat Games, and they're based out of here in Austin, which explains it. Cool to see them rep the local scene!
Hey Matey here from Electric Hat Games. Yeah Capyac is awesome, they let us show off our game at one of their shows in Austin. Really great guys and I hope more people discover them. Actually our whole soundtrack is made up of Austin artists, besides one track from Future Islands. So we love to support our local arts scene however we can. Here is our full track list.
Oh man, To The Top looks amazing. While I'm exceedingly happy with my PSVR, I do wish its tracking allowed for games like that. (I guess it'd work if you mounted the camera near the ceiling, but we'll still never see it on the PS Store)
Edit: Oh, right! Bridge Crew! I need to pick that up some day. It really looks cool, even though the idea of playing it online hits me right in the anxiety button.
We will be looking at doing a PSVR version in the future after we finish our free content updates on the PC in the next couple of months. It can work, you just might need two move controllers.
Wow, I have to say one of my favorite times in the games network was when 1up.com was around, but this has lead me to realize there are some incredible dudes in this industry and super proud they put this out.
