UPDATE: Microsoft has removed its instructions for updating Xbox One without connecting it to the internet.
The company issued Eurogamer a statement contradicting its earlier claim that the site could be used to manually update an Xbox One's firmware. The files which users could download to do so have also been pulled.
"The site was not an alternative way to take the Day One update and customers still need to connect to Xbox Live for the update," a spokesperson said. "Because of the complexity of this customer support process we've actually removed the page and we will work with customers directly to make sure they have a smooth experience."
As a hardcore Giant Bomb user, but only a casual member of the forums I can say this GOTG stuff has ruined the forums for me. It just feels like massive spam and actual discussion is buried. I've been an admin for some pretty major communities and we would keep something like this in a sub-forum to avoid alienating a big chunk of the users.
@flameboy84: It's just streaming your ps4 screen to the Vita. The account is irrelevant. Whatever account is logged in on the PS4 is the one you're playing.
@krullban: There is a pretty good reason. That's a massive bandwidth cost for Twitch from the millions of gamers that will "test" out twitch and have zero use for archiving.
I would say it's possible they add functionality as a toggle for powerusers in the future.
@kadash299: From what I can tell it changes from game to game whether audio is enabled. What is bugging me is I see some people getting audio from the games that aren't working for me. Software just seems straight up buggy.
I have the issue when streaming as well. Google tells me I'm not the only one. I don't know if its a software conflict or hardware failure. Buggy Sony.
