I'll be setting this up this week. Things at work got crazy, so I had to put all my time there. I'll get it set up, though.

However, reading some other peoples' suggestions, maybe we should just have multiple leagues of 6 people (one person in each division) because it's gonna be a lot of missed connections trying to set up user games.

I tried getting on the Online Franchise 5 times tonight and it looks like the servers are still trying to figure things out. It kept booting me off after like a two minute load time to get on their online servers. Will try again tomorrow.

I'm picking up the game after work and will mess around with it, try to get a good feel for how a user-league dynasty will work. The draft will likely be set for something like Friday at 8 or 9, and if people can't be there, then it'll autodraft. Just gotta figure out how well it'll work.

As for the user/user games, if people want to stay in one division, I'm fine with that, but it's gonna be on you guys to play your own games. I'd like to advance relatively quickly, and I also don't want to get a bunch of cheesy trades and tanking and stuff that generally makes the games un-fun.

I'll send invites out Thursday or Friday and we'll get this thing rolling. If you haven't accepted by the time the draft takes place, just pick your team and roll with them. I, personally, know very little of current baseball players, so I'm going solely on nostalgia with the players I know, but still looking forward to playing this!

Fair warning, I haven't turned my PS4 on in a few weeks, myself, but it'll come on probably Monday so I can pre-load the game, or if it's too large a download, I'll just go buy it. I'll be adding PSN IDs then, so if by chance anyone has added me yet, I'll definitely get to it.

@grizmack: I completely agree with you re: trying to get a bunch of people together. So to keep things easy, I'll set a date and time for it, and if people want to show, they show, if not, it'll sim. I haven't followed baseball in several years, so I don't know who the hell many of these people are anyway! As far as playing people in our own divisions, as I want to get through the season (which is impossible even in Madden and NCAA with friends I've played for years!), I'm just going to advance once a day, max once every couple days. If people can't be around to play their game, it shouldn't be a big deal, but I just don't want the flow to bog down because of one or two (or more...?) people, you know?

Is there any preference on a draft? This would take forever to do, but I'm down for a few rounds if anyone's interested, or we can sim it, or we can just play with the existing teams. Doesn't matter to me.

What team does everyone plan on using? I may be using Indians, but I'm actually not partial to them, so if someone really wants to play as them, I'm fine with it.

Awesome, so before the game is even out for PS4 yet, we've got 5 people interested. So here's what I'll do. When the game comes out, I'll look through the settings and everything to make sure we can all do this, and that a multi-person fantasy draft is able to happen. I know it's got simulated pitch counts, so that's an easy way to make the games go faster, so I was planning on using that. As for length of season, I don't know what the options are yet, but does anyone have a preference? Figure we'll just go middle of the road as far as difficulty; I believe it's dynamic, so it may adjust to our play though.

Also, planning to get a game a day in or simulate (depending on the length of the season we choose). Figure we can start some time that weekend (May 9th or 10th? or set up a schedule we could draft, if that's what we end up doing).Any questions/concerns?

lol, Crazy you bring the Indians up because that's who I'd want, too, though I'm completely good with a fantasy draft if it's an option. Let me look around and post back.
