It was Red version and it was awesome. And I yes..I did "Catch them all".

But now I'm seriously considering buying a DSI (or maybe a DSI XL) and picking up this newer one.  But I'm curious on what has changed over all these years:

-how many pokemon are exclusive to each version? with so many in each game now, I can imagine trading between the two versions can be a pain.
-with the wifi can I connect online (to trade, battle) with anyone? or do I need a "friend code"? do I need to be so far along in the game to even have the ability to do that?
-would I be able to dig out my old version of Red and somehow trade over my old pokemon? (thats a long shot I know, but there might be a way)
-can you mate the pokemon? (I remember around the time silver/gold came out there was the idea of breeding different genders of pokemon)
-and most importantly....is the game even enjoyable? from a distance it seems that the game feels bloated with all the added pokemon.

please tell me this game is still fun. I don't know why but I really wanna jump back in. is there anybody like me who hasnt played a pokemon game since the first ones?
I can't be the only one.

love the new podcast.  glad to finally have garnett back.
but lately i've been going through some old 1upyours circa 2006 and man did they used to argue alot.
esp shane and luke.  this new podcast seems...tamed...in comparison.
perhaps they'll have shane on since he works in the Los Angeles area.

well if anyones interested, I will be trying the license restoration and will report back if it works...
I believe it will, esp according to this quote from  http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/faq.htm

What happens to my content on the original console?

The content is no longer licensed to the old console. You can delete it, or you can use it while signed in to Xbox LIVE.

ooh just found this video on youtube. seems to look legit.

no he just got his own account recently. i wouldn't mind sharing it, but i dont wanna share the same gamertag cuz I wanna be able to play against/with him in some games.

@JeevesPleez: So does that mean I have to either give him the original system it was purchased OR the original gamertag? i wouldnt mind doing it. i just hope its possible, cuz we bought alot of stuff.

I recently moved out but took my 360, which I shared with my younger brother.
We both spent alot of money on various DLC (Rock Band 2, Beatles, WaW, etc).
Now he has his own account and was wondering if it was possible to somehow split the DLC between the two xboxes?
I know M$ allows you to transfer licenses to a new xbox but was wondering if anyone had experience with just hand picking the content.
any help will be appreciated.
