FTX ---- PSP

This weekend, I will be participating in a Field Training Exercise (FTX) for my Army ROTC program. Since I am now a fourth year cadet, and about to graduate from college, I will be busy with coordinating logistics and ensuring that each training exercise this weekend has its proper equipment, as opposed to actually doing the training. In summary, I will have to bring my PSP in order to get my gaming fix, if I even have time to do it. Unfortunately, I havn't gotten a new game for the PSP since God of War: Chains of Olympus and Monster Hunter Freedom 2.
Anyways, this intro leads to the games I am looking forward to getting to help make my PSP more playable as a gaming system, since I mostly use it for listening to the Giant Bombcast through RSS and playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max.Games That I Have, But Havn't Finished
Before I get new games, I should probably finish some of the great games I already have.....
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops- I got this when it first came out, but I just havn't been able to stay interested in the game. By the time I have the motivation to play the game again, I have forgotten what the game is about. I think I have played through the first two hours of the game like....3 times. It's a great game, and I love the gameplay and graphics. I'll get around to beating it, it will just take some patience (Even though I enjoy Metal Gear Solid games, I seem to always quit in the middle of them...)
God of War: Chains of Olympus- I got this game with the Red Kratos PSP. I replaced my old PSP because 1) I love the color Red, and 2) I wanted a Slim PSP. I played through half of the game, but I ended up loaning my PSP to my ex-girlfriend, and therefore never finished the game. Great graphics and gameplay, but the storyline was not very captivating. Still, I would like to finish the game someday....
Games I Want, But Can't Afford (Due To My College Budget)
I love the PSP, and I know that Sony is finally convincing 3rd Parties to invest into the system, such as companies like EA and Square Enix. But, since I am a starving college student who should (keyword: should) be studying and writing papers, I don't have the money to buy these great games. However, I can still wish to play them until I actually buy them :DResistance: Retribution- I love shooters, especially games like Gears of War and Call of Duty. However, the PSP has been relatively disappointing in that department. With the exception of MGS:PO, I have not really liked the gameplay mechanics of most shooters. However, based on Brad's quicklook on the game, it got me stoked about the possibility of a good shooter that isn't too restricting. I liked Goldeneye for the N64, and I remember I didn't have a problem with the auto-aim, so I think I will enjoy this game. Plus, I think I like the apocolyptic theme.
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?- The concept of this platformer is just...hilarious. Exploding penguins that end almost every sentence with dood? That's like...awesome and cute at the same time. I love good platformers, and especially ones that are difficult. Although the gameplay looks different, the difficulty of Prinny looks to be like Alien Hominid. I can't wait to get my hands on this game and take it for a test spin. The only thing I have to get past is the seemingly annoying voice acting, but that's what the mute button is for :P
LocoRoco 2: I loved the first one......I know I will love the second one.
MLB 09: The Show - I love baseball games, but it seems like the 2K series of baseball games are just dull.... I have an Xbox 360, not a PS3, but the best MLB game is only on Sony systems. So, what better way to get my baseball fix than to get it for the PSP? Plus, it's portable and I will be able to play the game an inning at a time if I choose to, instead of having to beat the other team in one sitting.
Games I Want, But Isn't Out Yet
I'm looking forward to later this year, mostly because 1) I will have lots and lots of money since I will be working, and 2) Great PSP games are coming out.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy- This game is amazing! I tried this game out on my friend's PSP, and it is absolutely astonishing that the PSP can produce such beautiful graphics. I love how each protagonist from each Final Fantasy is in the game, as well as each antagonist. It's also cool to see there will actually be a storyline, instead of just being a plain old fighting game.
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona- I never played any of the Persona games, and I don't have my PS2 anymore to play Persona 4. But after watching the endurance run, I want to take the series for a spin. I like the different path Persona takes on RPGs, since I'm getting pretty tired of Fantasy RPGs (except for FF, of course :P).
Rock Band: Unplugged- I love Rock Band!
Well, that post was a lot longer than I anticipated. I would also like to see some more PSN games on the PSP, such as Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix. I also wish games like Castle Crashers was on the PSP, but I'm happy with what's coming out this year. I love the PSP, and I hope it continues to grow (or the PSP 2 comes out and has everything the iPhone has.....and I mean EVERYTHING! + Games).
