@revel: Hey thanks for the guess but this isn’t it, it was a 3rd person view of the car and idk if I had a demo or something but you can only pick a blue sports car or a black old school muscle car the type where is was just the motor upfront. Thank you for trying though

Interstate '82, the disappointing sequel to Interstate '76. You played as Taurus ("I'm so good they should name a car after me") from the first game. The soundtrack featured Devo and the final boss was Ronald Reagan in a mech from what I remember.

WOW! I'm glad I came back here and looked. I have never even heard of Interstate 82 at all! I was familiar with Interstate 76 and around that time may be Big Red Racing. I see 82 came out in 1999. I would have been 19, busy as hell in college, and poor AF. I could see how may be I wouldn't even realize it existed plus at that point I was probably playing Counter Strike non-stop.

Ops post sounded so much like 76 that I had to reply even though the color of the car was off. Guess it was this 82 game I never heard of. Crazy. And yeah it looks pretty bad.

I was very surprised at how much I liked Rogue Legacy and I'm not even exactly sure why I ended up liking it so much. I even kinda dumped on it when I first saw it.

My hope is that it isn't like Guacamelee. I love Guacamelee. The music and everything. But for some reason I didn't play 2 and I don't feel drawn towards it. I feel like things have changed since then and there is a lot of games and I had just come off Dead Cells.

As one of the few people that truly loved Full Metal Furies, I think they are a great developer and look forward to how they hopefully improve upon an already great game. A little bummed that they are going back to the well, but whatever inspires them!

I know exactly what you mean. I never wanted them to make a sequel but I also did. Its really tears me in half cause I like that indie spirit of blazing new territory (which can completely be done in sequels! I'm not against sequels and franchises at all). But I know exactly what you mean.

Any fans out there? I'm excited. I bought it on sale for a couple bucks thinking I wouldn't really care about it and ended up playing it for 27 hours! I definitely had some addiction at times that probably wasn't too good/healthy. But overall I really enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to 2.

Sadly I never did play their (Cellar Door) other games. They look cool but it just never happened.

@hyperftw:

Here is a shot in the dark.

The Darkness (Xbox 360 2007).
Horror game with trench coat and loads of subway stuff. Looked good and was on UE3 (with the texture streaming problem and everything).

But I don't remember the scene you are talking about (but haven't played it since it came out) and can't find it in searches either.

Sadly I don't play as many games but some of them I still care about so GOTY can be strange. In this case Control ended up being one of the biggest. So I just stopped the casts and I am now in the middle (I'm gonna guess 80%?) of Control. Cool game! I'm definitely having some issues here and there but overall I'm really liking it.

Then may be I'll get around to finishing GOTY cast 4 and 5. I've only listened to parts of each. I also see them making me interested in Outter Wilds. Other than that (besides the games I played ofcourse) I really don't think i'll do much more than look at a video really quick if anything at all.

........Waiting for Doom Eternal.

Good Boys. I can't believe I'm saying 3/5. I want to give it a 4/5 and may be i'll see it again some other time and like it more. But I think my expectations were inflated because I absolutely love Super Bad and also my attitude was kinda off when I watched Good Boys.

But overall I was disappointed. It had some amazing scenes and stuff in it. I liked some of the ideas a lot (just like Super Bad) but it felt like they could have laid them out much nicer and grown in to the ideas but the movie didn't do that.

Spoiler?:: There are these 2 older girls. They kinda suck. They stand as this vision of the future. There is a quick nod to them being friends later in life even though they feel like they have known each other since really young. Really good stuff there. But for me personally the overall effect was weak. They just kinda came off as drug fiends and I couldn't respect that. They didn't show a good range of reasons why they came together, other than doing molly. I had a hard time relating to a lot of the movie in general too.

Some really funny moments. The end is decent.

Oh just now realizing I saw Ford vs Ferrari in theater (seeing a post where somebody brought it up).
5/5. Solid stuff.
