Heya, don’t know if this is the best place to post this “feature request” type issue, and apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere, but I’d really love if there was an option to hide all video instances of the podcast episodes. I’ve always listened to the pods as audio only and expect I will continue to; I use the pods as the way to get my GB dose while away from home or otherwise away from somewhere I’d be watching a video, and I’ve just never been interested in sitting to watch a pod as video content ever. As a long-time (i.e. since the beginning) member but still a casual user — I practically always open to the front page and then just click the recent videos in the drop down tab and browse from there — the flood of podcast video episodes make it frustrating to browse; I wish there was a way to only see those if I were seeking then out specifically and not while generally browsing recent videos (and it seems even worse if I’m browsing premium only vids). Please help make my GB site use enjoyable again!

Not sure if I should just throw this as a comment in here or if there’s a better place to add my name to a list of “marked as watched / unmatched” option as my absolute MOST requested feature!! It’s what drives me to watch much GB content through qlcrew.com especially when the actual GB site constantly misremembers which videos I’ve watched and how much or if I completed them (this may be a sync issue because I jump between watching on laptop, iPad, and iPhone).

I previously posted about this as a particularly annoying issue to me personally, which is where I was first informed of qlcrew: https://www.giantbomb.com/forums/general-discussion-30/clean-video-series-list-and-links-1834954/

Interestingly, I stumbled upon this thread mere hours after my partner’s single-sitting play through of Captain Spirit — interesting because I very rarely visit the GB forums and was only quickly glancing for something entirely unrelated. I had already previously conpleted my play through around the release and remember trying so many dates and even combinations of dates as solutions, eventually giving in and looking the solution up and being severly annoyed at the lack of care in design as you describe. I quickly told my partner after her first guess (obviously a date) to not bother and I told her the solution was “hawtdawg”, to which she did surprise me by knowing the corresponding numbers from pure flip-phone texting memory. Seeing the puzzle in play again, the only rational explanation I could possibly come up with for how they settled on this as the solution, and not having kids ourselves neither my partner or I know if this is an actual thing, but perhaps parental settings allow for unique pins to open only specific apps? If that were the case, it would make sense for Charles to provide Chris with a pin which would allow direct access to a game his dad already knows Chris uses the phone to play. This is just my own justification to make the design sting a little less, but would be a stretch to think this was the developers’ intention since Chris doesn’t already know the pin and claims to have “hacked” the phone once you get it right... unless his dad inputs this code himself to keep Chris locked out of other apps but doesn’t share it to keep Chris from using the phone unsupervised(?)

Sorry if this has been asked or discussed in the past, I've been a member of GiantBomb since the beginning but have hardly ever used the forums. With the latest site update, a bunch of video series seemed to have disappeared from the video drop down menu -- steal my sunshine for one, I was in the middle of watching through the series when it disappeared from the list and had to type the series title into the search box each time I revisited the site to get back to the series page.

Some series just seem to be impossible to find if you don't know the exact name of it; for instance, when I dropped my sub for a couple days while waiting for the sale to come around, after it did and I reupped, there was a some suggested premium content to check out and one of those was something about the building of an arcade cabinet (at least I think it was), but I can't get back to that sub page with the link and I don't know the title of that series.

So, all that to ask, is there anywhere on site or off that has a clean and clear list of each video series with links to those series' pages?

Also, I wish there were a way to manually mark videos as watched even if I haven't actually watched them on-site (such as watching a QL on YT); and I wish there were a way to filter out certain videos from the feed pages (such as all the podcast videos since I never watch those and only listen to the audio versions).

Here's my comment:

I'm actually okay with the name Massive Action Game and I wish they didn't want people to STOP calling it that

I've only had the game freeze once on me but I think that's just more a general xbox problem than the game as my 360 tends to do it randomly.

I'd be interested in finding some people to play against but I'm actually a little disappointed in the game now that it seems you can't customize an entire deck, just build off of the base decks they force you to use. I'm actually considering going back to Magic Online if that's still a viable alternative to actually getting physical cards (the problem of which requires care of the cards as well as finding others to play), I used to play both like pre-2000 but have been out of the game for quite some time. This 360 version has definitely gotten me interested (might even say hooked) in the game all over again.

If any players want to add me to their friends list my gamertag is GS Ryvvn, don't bother directly replying to me here as I don't usually log into my GB profile too often.

As an avid fan of the adventure gaming genre, from way back when to the few there are today, I'm constantly kicking myself for not supporting these guys and picking up any of the Sam and Max episodes yet... I'm a bad person but hey if I win there will be no doubt that I'd buy all future episodes.
