There was a period of my life that was total chaos, having only just turned 21, coach surfing, depressed, right after a hard breakup. I found all these art magazines that discussed the K Foundation's stunts. Reading about them burning a million pounds was and still is something that fascinates me, one of the most radical and subversive moments I have come across. It genuinely shook me, making a deep impression at the time.
I really enjoyed reading this. The parts about family and the KLF were so moving.
Wow! Your section on Disco Elysium blew me away. I was just contemplating how Disco Elysium explores hauntology but didn't find many google results for it. After playing The Outer Worlds with its rather surface level of critiquing capitalism and its promotion of moderation, I found Disco Elysium far more satisfying.
I am tired of media that dances around ideology, rarely engaging in depth so I was immediately fond of how overt and direct Disco Elysium was.
