@johnymyko: I think they'd definitely really enjoy Dragonball, and I agree that there's a bunch of stuff in Super that they'd miss without being familiar with Dragonball (but then, that's already the case for Z, so at a certain point that hardly matters anyways. If they could get through DBZ without DB then they can get through DBS without it). There's some issues with going back that I'm not sure there's any real fix for though. First off, unless they decide to surprise release some bluray sets, it's pretty damn hard to get. As far as I know, the only actual way to legally get hard copies of it is through the 2010 DVD box set which isn't exactly the easiest thing to get ahold of which, even if they get them no problem (I'm sure some fans would be more than happy to send it to them), it still makes it difficult for fans to follow along.

The other problem is that it never got a "Kai" edit. This results in two problems. 1. While not DBZ levels, DB certainly has its fair share of filler arcs. Hell, the entire final arc of original DB is filler. I think the DB filler is actually pretty good in comparison to most of DBZ's which mostly amounted to a lot of padding to buy time, so this isn't necessarily a big problem, but it does bloat the episode count up to 153 (which is comparable to DBZK). Unfortunately, issue 2 will be harder for them. No Dragonball Kai means no redubbing. They already said that they didn't like the dubbing quality in the trunks OVA, so 150+ episodes of early 2000s anime dubbing may be a major turn-off for them.

I definitely want them to go back and check out original Dragonball, but the accessibility issues and lack of a modern cut/redub makes it a harder sell than, say, Super which Amazon is constantly trying to shill the latest episodes of if you've ever even done a single DB related search.

They could subscribe to Funimation's streaming service for OG Dragon Ball if they don't mind paying the subscription fee for the months it would take (at their pace) to watch the whole series.

Idea. Follow Rorie around the office for as long as you can without him spotting you. Then when he does final see you, shout "Ben's Lens" and run away.

The music in this is just so good. It's great at getting you pumped to race some horsies.

Someone should totally set footage from the Rift live stream to "Welcome to the Future" from Trials Fusion. It fits so well.

@exsephiroth87: Yeah, I'm guessing the save that Scott was playing was an older one compared to where B.E.A.S.T started the last episode. Very fortuitous that he was sent the save where Bill was still barely within the influence of Kerbin's gravity.
