I'm all for preventing piracy.  It seems to me that they could do something on the Steam model and force you to log in to Battle.Net to play multiplayer and still utilize the LAN.  Even if they don't do that you can all still hang out in the same room and play each other to your heart's content.  Bottom line: Blizzard isn't killing the SCII LAN.  You just might have to --you know-- buy the game to play it.  The pirates will undoubtably provide all you who are above paying for games what you want but consider this: if there weren't any pirates and we all just bought the games we wanted to play companies wouldn't have to keep their prices as high to combat losses due to piracy.

Quake II was my first id game and my introduction into surrendering my life to the great glowing screen.

I'm so glad that they decided to take a realistic approach to Wolverine in this game.  I've always wanted everything related to him to be hyper-violent.  The next movie should be directed by Quentin Tarantino ftw.
