everyone talks about how psn and xbox live is so great but yet both were not only hacked but was taken down for weeks and months from being online. what no one saw was shortly after the psn was hacked adn taken out the hackers got into the nintendo servers do you know what they got away with? absolutely nothing and they didnt budge the servers. i hear but the brawl servers was so laggy did you ever think about when they released brawl on wii? it was within the first few months of their online servers going live.

I agree with the whole friend codes thing and the adding of friends etc. Ive also read that they kinda want to model the online service similar to the way steam is lately and a bit more secure then what xbox live and psn is. Ive been thinking about this part of course how many users have a nintendo user account that has their games linked to the nintendo servers? just about 99% of the users especially via the wii cause it uses your email address. what if the online service uses that part of their "community"? and you are able to add friends, and opponents onto a "different server" if you understand what i mean ya know kinda like steam.

from what ive seen lengthy games like final fantasy, etc etc will be on Wii U. With the processing power of the Wii U we will see direct ports of games like portal 2 etc with pc quality graphics.

actually it would be upscaled not by choice especially if your using the HDMI cord instead of the RCA jacks. look at dvd's using a blue ray player they are read by that but not really upscaled only by using the hdmi cord cause that is what that port does. the graphics themselves would stay the same yes but the stream to the tv would be HD. you gotta read between the lines and know the tech. did you know the majority of people that wanted nintendo to remake the wii only wanted a HDMI port on the back? because the cord combined with the tv upscales the image automatically. look at xbox360 yes it has power for HD but the original 360 used an HDMI port to connect to the HDTV in order for the tv to upscale the game. The screens you would get may not be HD on the disc but through the port it would look like it was HD.

lol 3D is a gimmick and is only there to sell tv's and or consoles or handhelds the true "3D" what im thinking of is like what the 3ds and the wii U controller can do and that is turn it a certain way and see more of the game kinda like the thing is a mouse instead of slowly turning the whole screen using a control pad which takes time.  No one i have seen yet besides a few actually understands the potential of the Wii U. think about it a game like call of duty, or even battlefield 3 using just the controller and turning it to aim and shoot your oppontents kinda like how you turn wiht a mouse on a pc but the screen is in your hands instead of on a desk. also the ps3 occasionally displays 720p at most and is in fact native to 680p as to where the Wii U will be a native 1080p constant. which puts the HDTV's to actual gaming use unless someone is watching said tv in which you can use the screen on the controller. If you see 3D tv's no one is really buying them. even for movies because they just are not practicle at all.

controller input never really wasnt much of a problem for them in the past. they had mk1, mk2 both for the pc. i think it is WB myself but if they put it on steam i can bet you anything it would sell huge. same with mk1,mk2 and have online as an option. steam is a very good online component for the pc granted when they first came out with it, it wasnt good at all but now its one of the best, and that was because valve headlines everything on steam. if piracy is a problem and you wanna have online for the game steam is your best bet on that. even for mk9 which all they would have to do is allow compatibility for button config for hand controllers like what id use is an old snes controller but i think instead of having buttons to push for the xray moves it should be just a "special kombo move" to access it and bring mk 9 even more back to the original three games which to this day people have tournaments on the pc using mame and kaillera. this way they could make it official and the mame versions woudl go away. i think also on the subject midway should contact rare and nintendo and make an original killer instinct online component for steam as well.
