@curryspiced: Indeed-- So "Adrianne" and Dom actors ended up dating after this project-- I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this, so worth mentioning-- she ended up marrying a B-list Director guy later on-- good for her
I looked up the IMDB and the actress did a commercial with John Stamos. All things considered I think the main three actors were trying. Especially the villain / best friend toward the end. Hope the actors all get a small boost of recognition here that helps them elsewhere in their careers.
Hey Dan - I loved this episode. Keep playing the way you want to play man. By all means don't stop playing I enjoy the stories and I enjoy the side stuff. Don't worry about performing for us and ignore the haters.
Most people here don't care how good or bad he is at the game. It's blaming the game for it, and that turning in to him not enjoying it. Which makes us not enjoy it.
This 100%. I have watched hundreds of hours of Dan playing games at GiantBomb and Game Informer for the last 6+ years, I can't recall any time he's sucked the fun out a video like that. In fairness it really wasn't that bad, but people spend time watching these videos to de-stress and enjoy themselves, and as a (performer) more or less to the people watching it, it was disheartening to see, because it then felt like "work" and "stressful", despite the fact that he never lost a fight, & was never in any real danger of losing.
But like other people said, everyone is entitled to an off day & they recorded this right before E3, one of the busiest times of the year. I hope all these comments don't make him feel more self-conscious than he must already feel, but like @alistercat said, the audience feeds off your emotions & everyone likes this playthrough so much because in a word... FUN.
Maybe pull up a girl-card map location thing like Alex did for the businesses. Since the # of cards you picked up triggers Mr.Libido story progression.
