I'm not a fan of the edited nature of this feature. A lot of great Giant Bomb bits come from them just fucking around and shooting the shit during down time and having Vinny edit all of those out is kind of a bummer to me. Just give me the raw feed, that's all I need. And plus, that would give both more content for this feature, and Vinny more time to make other content.
@binarygod: I disagree, if you miss the name of the game just rewind a little bit and they will say it. There doesn't have to be a constant graphic on the screen.
I started watching the video but had to turn it off when they began reading the dialogue on the screen. It is one of my biggest pet peaves when streamers do it, and It sucks so much.
This video is kinda killing me because it looks like they are using the hacked version which I think spits out a 16x9 image and are then compressing it down to 4x3.
I agree with everyone that they really should have had the old guard on this video. This video was mainly just them talking about people they don't know and Ben looking up random facts on his computer. Side note: Ben should not be allowed to have his laptops or phone during streams.
I think Jan seems like a cool guy, but I cannot stand his graphic use on these streams. What is the point in a running timer? All we need is the game and their faces, that’s it. I just started, but there have been no cuts I could tell so far, come out on the couch and talk.
Edit: It now appears that Jason was in the control room so I apologize to Jan. And to Jason I say, Come on Man. Also changed some of the wording for clarity and because it was harsher than intended.
