I was just given a BK Taco and it is easily, literally, unquestionably, the worst fucking god damned fast food item I've ever had. I love me some Mr.Jeff Gerstmann, but holy shit, man....anyone willingly eating these dental mishaps waiting to happen has no room to be as picky as you are about food. The top half of the shell is incredibly hard, like they forgot to stick it in the oven to toast it hard, like I was checking my teeth after every bite hard, and the lower grease pocket of "meat"....while not being as much of a nightmare, was extremely unpleasant. I get that these are copy cats of Jack in the Box, and I haven't had Taco Bell in like thirty years, but is this indicative of what people settle for with fast food these days? Jesus jumped up Jackflash, I don't care how drunk a person is, there's gotta be better shit on the menu. Also a $1 for these things is way too much.

What's Dan talking about there weren't many games that made use of the extra stick on the New 3DS? There's been so many since the release of the original 3DS, some of us had to import a Circle Pad Pro attachment for better control options.

@y2ken: HCTP was a different style of game, for sure...more arcadey in nature and better fitting for those that like to run around and spam the same moves over and over, it was great fun to play with friends but wasn't a very good representation of professional wrestling. Something that the 2K series is at the moment as long as you don't exit the ring or use weapons/ladders (which has always been bad).

The biggest step forward was Yukes shifting things to favor defense over offense with all of the new reversal and reactionary animations which do a much better job of selling a match and delivering something like the back and forths that we see in NXT and the indys. We need a match speed slider option though, because right now matches aren't fast enough for those guys and a little too quick for the legends.

Also, WWE'13 and 2K14 were THQ titles so it's understandable why you like them more. Both were great, 2K14 one of the series' absolute best, but super buggy and the striking speed was set way too high which made playing as some of the older guys annoying. That game had some great modes though, particularly the Undertaker "Beat the Streak" boss fight.

Again... Alex, just because you don't like or get the draw of simulation based wrestling action doesn't mean the WWE games haven't improved over the years. The core in-ring gameplay is fantastic and 2K19 is the most life like representation of it ever made. Yuke's frustration doesn't seem to be with that aspect specifically, so hopefully they won't stray too far from their strengths. I know I say this every time you mention these games, but just because something isn't your speed, doesn't mean it's bad. I don't know why you even care as much as you do given you're a Fire Pro guy, and Fire Pro guys don't actually play that game from what I've seen. In a world where you have that, why you gotta hate on a title of a completely different style that others enjoy? It's not all about you, let us have and enjoy our things too, man.

My favorite ice cream flavor is rum raisin, and the last brand that offered it around here (Turkey Hill) quit stocking it because I was probably the only person buying it.

It's available in Wayward Pines though...

Really love the continued bit by Alex, Dan, and Bakalar that Days Gone isn't worth anyone's time.

Between that, the "it looks like shit" banter leading up to it (from both crews) and the highly questionable scores from IGN and (especially) Gamespot, it's like some folks wanted it to fail. You guys established it's a "B" game, and sure it has issues, but acting like it's a pile of shit with Dan eliciting a groan anytime Vinny brings it up is annoying as hell. Let the man play what he wants without y'all ganging up on him.

He's obviously drawn to it much like what seems to be the majority of us folks outside the "professional enthusiast" bubble who enjoy it for its setting, cool survival aspects, and story, and I personally would hope...especially now, as result of strong sales...SIE Bend Studio will be given a chance to improve upon the rocky, yet impressive foundation they've built for what could be a great franchise. A game that, despite its blemishes is closing in on RE2 as my favorite release this year and is an honest to god breath of fresh air in a sea of generic futuristic shooters that seem to plague the market.

I usually don't get worked up to where I feel the need to defend something outside of the annual bashing of WWE2K, but shit, guys...it's lame. Thankfully the West Coast ignored the game altogether (for whatever reason). But yeah, they don't like it, who cares, if you do, keep at it Vin-man...and play at your own pace, there's definitely fun to be had!

@anthony: They mentioned they didn't want to risk a copyright strike over the music that was playing in the store.

Listening to the email section now and Jason mentioned he kept his left thumb on the N64 stick for Wrestlemania 2000. The stick was actually relegated to taunts, the secret automatic kick out, and was used for finishers in combination with strong grapple.
