New patch and back on the ladder

I haven't had much time to play, but I did watch more videos. When I re-watched the Newbie Tuesday videos, a couple of points stuck out. I decided to try and use them in my games:
- Don't lasso/box your units. Click directly on the units that you want to select.
- Use the minimap or the hotkeys to move the screen. Don't scroll my putting the mouse on the side of the screen.
Patch 1.3.3 also dropped today. There are a lot of balance changes for Protoss, but I can't make heads or tails how I should tailor my build order. I didn't really have the timing down for the timing attacks anyway, so I just move out when I think stim is almost done, or I hold off attacks until warpgate is researched. If it's another 40 seconds for warpgate technology, then it's another 40 seconds. My attack was at 8 minutes even, so I don't think it would count as a warpgate rush.
I guess I just need more practice. I managed to ladder and get the #1 rank in Silver division briefly, but I can't seem to hold it. I used up all my bonus pool, though. I did better in the first few games of the night, so maybe I should just play games "for fun" later at night. We'll see.
