Are monitors even capable of HDMI? I was just looking for something comparable to the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable.

How is 22" tiny? It's a computer monitor LCD, not a TV.

I'm planning on getting a 22" widescreen LCD, so I'll need a component cable to hook it up to the PS3. What's the cheapest cable out there for this? I've seen $2 HDMI and audio optical cables, so hopefully it'll be in that price range as well.

While we're on the topic, is pretty much any ethernet cable OK to use on the Arcade? I have one that I use on my printer, but I can always take that off. You can buy a 120GB hard drive off Amazon for $140 shipped, so I may be leaning towards the Arcade and hard drive.

So basically, is the only real difference between the two models the hard drive size and the color?

BTW, the black model for the 360 seems a bit odd. It looks like it's more of a plastic look than a glossy look like the PS3.

Sorry for making another topic, but I didn't want to go off-topic on the other thread.

Basically, I'm in the market for an Xbox 360 after selling mine almost a year ago. (I have this uncontrollable urge to play Fable II, Gears of War 2, etc.) Money is tight as I am a college student, but I just returned my 16GB iPod Touch because I felt like I would get more enjoyment out of a 360.

I want the best bang for my buck. I never really cared about the hard drive size until NXE, where we can now download actual game discs onto the hard drive. So this brings me to my dilemma: 60GB Holiday Bundle for $299 or 120GB Elite Holiday Bundle for $399? Is one more stable than the other in terms of the Red Ring? What really pops out about the Elite that the Premium doesn't have? It comes with an HDMI cable, but I've seen them go for like $5 online.

I really want to get the new Jasper chip, but it doesn't look like there is any clear consensus on whether or not they are actually out yet. (For the record, I plan to buy off Amazon.com.)

So I bought the Xbox 360 right around when it came out and it lasted me well for a good two years or so without ever getting a RRoD. I've got the urge to game again, so I've been looking at this holiday bundle from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Holiday-Bundle-2008-Drive/dp/B001FPBZ3U/ref=sr_tr_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1226082394&sr=8-1

My question is, does this Xbox have the elusive Jasper chip that everyone is talking about?

Also, a more technical question. I have a 5.1 home theater system and I want to know the name of the cable I need to buy to connect it to my 360 for surround sound. I had it with my 360 before I sold it.

And finally, how do I find out if my TV is HDMI-compatible? It's a very old 26" 1080i HDTV. Is it even worth it to get HDMI for my small TV?

edit: Does that bundle even have an HDMI port? Would I be better off shelling out the extra $80 for the Elite, especially now that we can download disc games onto the hard drive?

I think FFXIII will be pretty innovative, but I don't think it'll stray too far away from traditional JRPGs. Personally, I don't have a problem with traditional JRPGs, as long as they keep that great and compelling storyline.
