@luciddreams117: Being silent about something you’re uninformed about is fine but it’s not like this news broke mid-Beastcast. The others knew enough to discuss it which means he might not be as willing to learn as you think or he may choose not to discuss anything political so as to not scare off potential Air Force Gator book buyers :)
Urge ppl to go check out digital foundry’s analysis of this game on switch. They show the worst parts of the game which are, of course Novigrad and Crook Back Bog, both of which stuttered heavily with a framerate dipping into the low 20s.
I was thinking about a third play through on the switch but after seeing that vid I don’t think so. Like skyrim and doom it’s an impressive feat but since I’ve played them previously on beefier hardware, I think I’m good.
@frytup: depending on my mood I’d say Aenima or Lateralus is my favorite Tool album. 10,000 Days is probably my least favorite of theirs (unless we’re counting the EP).
Unless I change my mind in the years to come I’m thinking Fear Inoculum is my third favorite Tool album. It’s like a better put together 10,000 Days.
I find Fear Inoculum to be an excellent album but I can see where Vinny is coming from. 6 minute, angsty Tool songs are still awesome. I’d like to see them make some music like that again but know that that won’t happen as they’re no longer that young, angry band. They even have a song about that on this album.
Also, Vinny trying to hide or avoid the names of old Tool songs he might be jamming to like Prison Sex, Aenima, or Stinkfist from his kids is hilarious. “This song is called uh, Prison...time, no Prison Food. Yep, Prison Food. This one is Aenima (yeah, you’re not gonna know what that means for a while), and this is Stink uh Sti...Untitled. It’s Untitled, don’t ask.”
