The worst, most butchered versions of one of my favorites. Among them his portrayals in "All-Star Batman and Robin" and "The Dark Knight Strikes Again". Frankly, Clooney's Batman is also awful, and so is any version of him written by Gail Simone (who is a serious Batman hater, and it's reflected in her writing).

The bastard DID orchestrate the Human-Covenant War for purely selfish reasons and is responsible for the deaths of billions of humans in an almost thirty year holocaust. Oh, and he killed Miranda Keyes in a lame, anti-climactic death for that character, and to top it all off, he's a pathetically weak, cowardly, and spineless religious fanatic. So yeah. A bad combination of pure evil, sanctimonious, and a cowardly weakling.

Especially considering that he's no better a villain than Nute Gunray and Sebulba, and yet Prequel bashers who use Nute Gunray and Sebulba as an excuse for hating on the prequels but never hate on Unkar or use him as a reason for hating TFA are basically hypocrites.
