I don't know about you but I LOVE original arcade games. No not those "arcade" games you see on xbox live.... *slap*

Real arcade games that took real coins 20 years ago... As a kid I spent most of my childhood in arcades and they are what introduced me into the gaming world. The very first game I played was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I was a huge fan of them as a kid). I used to play it hours on end and now thanks to the wonderful advances in technology I'm building a big MAME cabinet to play all the original arcade favorites including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989).  To me MAME brings me back to a childhood state where I would be running through the arcades with pockets full of quarters and hearing all the noises of all the cabinets playing at the same time ... :)    

 What are your favorite arcade games and would you build a MAME cabinet in your house just so you can relive the experience? I found a old computer laying around an put some extra parts from other computers to give it a little boost. So far I have 2,392 MAME games on it that is going to be used in the cabinet. I'm waiting for a few more paychecks to buy all the materials at once. Pictures and possibly video will be taken from start to finish! Be sure to check back if your interested in the turnout!!

I'm going to read up on other peoples blogs to see how and what everyone talks about. I plan to post some personal reviews of games I play whether they are good or bad.
