1. 3D TVs need to drop in price (Sorry, " under $3000" is too vague, and the cheapest Panasonic is  $2500...still too damn much)
2. No stupid ass glasses
3. No headaches

I agree, gaming is getting way too expensive, and so far (no personal experience) I've heard nothing that groundbreaking.
 
As soon as people tell me it's the next best thing and it's proper 3d, they can go 3d hang themselves.

Couldn't agree more. At the moment, I don't see the huge fuss about 3D. Someone told me that I shouldn't be so quick to dismiss 3D TV, and that I had to see it to believe it. Something about taking the viewing experience to the next level or something.

4. 3D technology needs to deliver actual depth, far beyond the 3m that we see with current 3D technology. Because nothing is further away than a couple of feet from the screen, the 3D effect actually makes for more artificiality than for less.

Yeah, current 3D is way too much of a stopgap technology to be worth the money they're pushing you to spend on it.

right now 3D is just a gimmick. i think next gen is when 3D will take off
