Are JJ and Jeff cops? Do detectives count for this list? I feel like they were snubbed. That game is actually awful but I just wanted to bring up JJ and Jeff.
Cool stuff! My 60-year-old dad actually just picked up a Google Daydream headset with his new phone because of some sort of... sports thing that caught his eye? So this article is relevant in a way I never thought it would be. On the topic of isolation in virtual reality, I also think it's weird that one of the things I'd love to try in VR is essentially a concert simulator which is satisfying for the same reason the Hulu thing is, I'd imagine.
My first ever 360 experience was looking at King Kong running in a Best Buy or whatever. Same place I played a demo of Mario Super Sluggers or whatever it was called. Ended up owning the Mario game before ever touching a 360 controller!
Good stuff! My one, ONE gripe with this article is that I wouldn't really lump Tekken in with Street Fighter, but given which series ACTUALLY matter to the people just dropping in for EVO finals and picking up a game after--you know, the people keeping the fighting game industry afloat--I'll let that slide. (As if my ding-dang opinion MATTERS)
I wish there was a new Virtua Fighter, though. I feel like the world's ready for it. 4K resolution Jeffry McWild.
The stuttering really does make a case for Game Tapes rather than Game .flvs. I bet .flvs don't even have magnets.
This just made me regret never getting a Game Boy Micro. I have a strange feeling I also would have used it like... once? But I've made worse purchases not 24 hours ago.
@geraltitude: Tekken 6's campaign mode was pretty beefy, at least story-wise, so I'd think this one would be about as beefy if not moreso. It's nice to see the QTE button prompts are actual moves!
