Not all games are for all people.

DQ Builders is still on my list though.

The first game (well, first Styx only game) was PS+ and I do mean to maybe get to it eventually. Maybe.

Bad is Brad at stealth.

Nothing about this game from the first trailer onward interested me personally, but that didn't mean it wouldn't be for anyone. As it turns out though...

I played most of the tutorial and an actual match, but nah mate. This game is just too inoffensive and floaty for it's own good.

Dan does protest too much, though.

There have been half-a-dozen games out this year that I've wanted to get; this is the first I've actually bought. My last JRPG was Bravely Default so let's hope I still like them!

This game is as AAA as it gets: Arrogance, Avarice, Apathy.

With ME3 Bioware proved that they didn't care about their own universe; then even those people left. The people that made ME1, 2, even DA:O aren't there anymore. This game was put together by a team that for all intents and purposes was an EA workhouse, inexperienced overall and what they had done was only support work. Bioware doesn't exist anymore. Long live Bioware.

There's a good chance I'll still get the complete edition when it's $10. Shame on me.

This is absolutely DA:I in space. But worse?

I can get past the eyes. The animations are harder, but still I could get past it. The core of Mass Effect is the characters and the universe; without them there's no game to this otherwise mediocre third person shooter franchise. With ME3 it was clear that Bioware didn't care about their own universe and that continues here. If Bioware doesn't care about their universe, then neither do I.

...Truth be told, I'll still probably give in and buy the complete edition when it's fairly cheap. I just want ME to care about itself like it used to.

@ouranou: Well I feel better about it if that's what is happening, I was just going on what Brad said.

Brad said that the Krogan had their own Ark. Is... is that right? As some one who once really liked Mass Effect, that makes no sense. Some individuals, or even a clan or something, but the Krogan were absolutely untrusted and still under the overview of the turian military. Wrex had hadn't exactly united Tuchanka into a solid, galactic citizen.

Also, how are they moving around the galaxy? I've ignored preview stuff, but mass effect ftl is actually quite slow. The citadel races rely on the relays to move large distances, and the use their own ship-based ftl to go between nearby systems. Clearly this galaxy has no relays so...

And look, Mass Effect has always been pretty poor technically. It's designs were neat, but the people and places were never top of their class. This game though seems less technically capable that DA:I, and that was a game that went with quantity over quality with it's art and characters. They've had years further to refine their use of the engine, so why does this look worse?

I can get past the faces, but Bioware showed they didn't care about their own universe in ME3, and this game doesn't seem to correct for that.

I'm tired of being angry about the garbage that was ME3, but why couldn't Joker date a space ship?!!? EDI didn't need a dumbass super advanced post cerberus infiltration body for them to work.

I bought the third game in last years mid-year sales, and haven't touched it. This makes me want to finally get to it.

..huh. I was all set to maybe get this game after the review, but this game is even a bit more Far Cry than I had thought. I'm sure I'll pick it up at some time, but I only played Far Cry 4 last year, and it's not like I don't have a backlog even on my PS4.

I'm glad everybody that liked it liked it though!
