I Love Good DLC (or DLG?)

I'm a convert. Mega Man 9, new songs on Rock Band, and Wipeout HD. Best 30 bucks you can spend on games (well.. besides getting Persona 3:FES).
I didn't quite beat Mega Man 9. Got to the first skull stage in the Dr. Wiley parts. I assume that there are two skull stages, since that's how the old Mega Man games were. It's like saying that probably "the princess is in another castle". (ps. my Mega Man 9 guide was mentioned by Jeff in this blog post. It's going to break a 1,000 views by tonight. How aweomse is that! Long live teh internets). Wipeout HD is better than it's ever been. And I'm not exaggerating. It's been kind of bad for a while... since Wipeout XL, in fact. But now that it's in HD, you can actually see the track. What a difference! I love racing games. Besides Flatout 2 and the Gran Turismo series, I think Wipeout HD is my new favorite racer. It's a little tough at first (though nothing like GT), but you really can gain skill in it quickly. Custom playlists are awesome, and trophies are kinda fun, too.
I also really enjoy the games I got for my bday. House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is a good port of the arcade game (with extra modes), and I would say the best light gun game for the Wii, of the ones that I've played (others are Ghost Squad, Resident Evil). I like those games in the arcade and it's great to be able to play em anytime and with infinite continues if I want. Dragon Quest IV is really good, too. I always underestimate the Dragon Quest games. They always seem too "kiddy" from the box art and graphics, but they really are fun. The music is quite addicting like Final Fantasy. It's like being in a casino and hearing all the jingles and rattling. You wanna do whatever you can to hear it again... like beating the next monster. Btw, no I don't have a gambling problem, lol.
I'm looking to get Bomberman on WiiWare soon, too. Let me know if anyone has it and their impressions of the game. I never played bomberman before, but after seeing a tournament back on gamespot I really thought it looked good and that I could get into it. One game I'm not liking that much is Episode 1 of Strongbad on WiiWare. I keep getting to spots where I'm not sure where I go next or who I'm supposed to talk to. And it's not like this is a very puzzling game like Zork or Myst. It should be obvious how I can speed through it, I hoped. But I guess that's not the case. And playing an adventure game with a game guide defeats the whole point of playing. So I'm not too enthused about continuing in that episodic adventure, even if the second one is supposed to be better. The point-and-click doesn't work as well as the PC, too.
I played a little bit of The Witcher, which I d/l'd through steam. I <3 steam. I hope to never have to use a CD Key again. Anyways, the graphics aren't as good as they're cracked up to be, and I haven't played long enough to really get into the dialogue. So I can't give you accurate first impressions on the story yet. But the combat seems simple and slightly more interesting than Diablo. Which isn't saying much. But I can already see the sex appeal of this game. Now if they would just stop cutting between the hot ladies and old Middle-Earth-looking old dudes with bears, that would be great. If you're going that direction, why go half-way? Ps. the PC is running it quite well on high settings.
