No problem. My friend is actually looking for a place to release the recordings of his old band. They self-published some stuff years ago, but he's looking for avenues to get those recordings on the market. I play guitar a bit myself, so we're talking about collaborating, recording new stuff, experimental psychedelic rock. I will tell him about Bandcamp.
I also record a bit of music by myself, just to share with friends. I am in the process of uploading some of my stuff onto YouTube (just started yesterday, I'm transfering stuff over from SoundCloud, which costs money if you want more than 2 hours of audio). I have to convert the stuff into video form, which is often just a static image). I haven't been playing guitar long, but I think this is one of my better sounding tracks. It might not be your style, but it would be nice to hear the opinion of a stranger. Also, a warning if you check out any of my other uploads, it's not all music. I have some weird comedy improv attempts uploaded (you can hear some of the Giant Bomb Crew in the background, I usually just leave Unprofessional Fridays or some other content running if I am not trying a serious recording attempt). My friends say that it's funny material, but they are a bit biased. Anyway, if you're interested:
Edit: deleted embed, as I read in the forum rules that the Giant Bomb moderaters frown on embedding YouTube videos directly in posts. I think this might be one reason this thread got locked (although the soft commercial nature of one other poster may also be the real reason). I'll use links in the future instead. I am not quite sure why inserting a video is an option, it's a bit confusing... it's Giant Bomb. I like it that way.
