L4D has possibly been delayed, due to, the now known, Gears of War 2 release date announced at E3 2008. Kind of sad, but I will have Spore to tide me over.

UPDATE*: It is delayed until November 18th in NA.

One of my most anticipated titles of 2008 (other than Spore). Left 4 Dead is looking good and from watching and listening they have updated the graphics. There are 5 chapters each chapter lasting 3-5 hours.

Giant Bomb has gotten off to a great start. Being with Giant Bomb pre-beta was a blast. Being able see how it evolved and how it was made. It was a blast to experience it at home. Being able to be included in the process is exciting. Now the site has unveiled a Wikipedia style editing system and a Facboook style profile. Which is great, it really adds something to the gaming community, a sense that what "us" the gamer is able to help shape and form a gaming website that will not only inform ourselves, but anyone else. You could call this the Wikipedia of Gaming, as well as the Facebook of gaming. The site and the people that make it (Jeff, Ryan, Brad, Vinny, Snide, etc...) make it a relaxable environment where people are able to meet and greet and talk about the thing they love best - gaming. I wish someone thought of the idea sooner, a community that is involved with making the site and is also a social-gaming site, pure genius I say!

This site is already recieving many shout-outs by different websites and newspapers, such as the washington post, who mentions it as an amazing take on gaming websites, and it will have a though competition with other sites such as Gamespot, IGN, Kotaku, and 1UP. I see this site being successful and that is because it has done something that no other website has done, and I am reiterating this, developing a gaming website for the people by the people.

I can't wait to see what GiantBomb has waiting for us around that next explosive corner. Until next time... :D
