Tragic Tales of Woe 5

To get this out of the way: This is not a mystery visual novel, and even calling it mystery "themed" is questionable. This is a drama that unfolds with some twists, both unexpected and hinted at--as you would, you know, expect from most stories. (And while I would love to continue on my soapbox asking why the majority of visual novels released in the west are mysteries, with little room for much else (aside from hentai), I will desist.)Genre dickery done: The House in Fata Morgana is a fairly we...

Maze of Melody: Witchparty of Sunset 0

I've only played a few true dungeon crawlers (according to dungeoncrawler dot com or whatever) so I don't know if this is a good one of them as I don't really have the same parameters most dungeon crawler fans I've met do. So I'll do my best to review this anyway. The basic premise of this game is that you (a memory-less soul that is put into a book, called the... something long, nicknamed to Tractie) are thrown into a well (which contains the many dungeons you will crawl) by a witch, Dronya. A Variable, Vivid Finale 3

First: even if you have no interest in playing NMH3 please listen to the song Itadakimasu.I've been trying to write this review for a while, and it's been elusive to say the least. I like this game, but as I filter though my many negative points, I look at those four stars like, no way, it's 3, then think again and go no maybe it's 5 stars, actually. I am a Grasshopper fan (and will try my best not to be insufferable) but No More Heroes was never my favorite. ...Then Travis Strikes Again rolled ...

Unlimited is also the amount of words in this review 0

Seeing as the general Giant Bomb community is probably somewhat unacquainted with and perhaps uninterested in otome games as a genre, I offer the following TLDR review:This is a fandisc, which means it is for fans! And it certainly is. If you played the original Collar x Malice and enjoyed it, it's likely you already played this, but if not I will keep this relatively spoiler free. If you played the original and didn't finish it or didn't care for a majority of the routes, this will not change y...

A (Lightly) Disappointing Outing 0

(I tried too hard to make a clubbing-jumpstyle-platformer joke in the title for too long.)There are some light/early game spoilers in this review.I am a fan of Kodaka's Danganronpa series, and a bigger fan of Uchikoshi's Zero Escape and AI: The Somnium Files, so when they made their own studio I was suitably excited. Death Come True, a short FMV game with a gameplay loop that you'd expect from these two was pretty good, but I was more interested in World's End Club (at the time called Death Marc...
