dont be afraid to take hairloss pills @jeffbakalar, you can easily do some research on finasteride and know the side effects and decide for yourself instead of being scared at just hearing that there's side effects. and while you can definitely rock the shaved head look like vinny and look great, dont get pressured into thinking caring alot about keeping your hair is somehow bad, theres nothing to be ashamed of for not wanting to lose your hair, or for taking hairloss medication, i've heard of too many men complain about balding and who've never even done the research on the medication and just think its fake or not worth it, do the research now, dont let it be too late.
in previous pokemon games you have to fight like 4 battles to max an EV because of all the EV doublers you get, it was the fastest part of making your team, c'mon, pokemon has marketed that they did a bunch to make it easier to play competitive, but in reality they come with so much caveats that they've really not helped much, Mints to change nature? neat, but each one costs 50 BP, probably takes about as long to grind for 50 BP as it takes to hatch some more eggs for the nature you want, bottle caps to raise IVs to perfect? neat on paper again, but still so expensive that its just faster to just breed your good IV pokes same as ever. Oh, we made TMs unlimited use a few games ago so its easier to give your pokemon the good moves they need, but in this game we made like half the good ones single use again! but you can farm them! Not to mention having to catch specific raid pokemon for hidden natures and the ability to gigantomax, personally i feel its still about as time consuming to make a team as previous games, please dont fall for the marketing so simply jan! And the option to skip the ball catching tutorial is probably the only thing thats less hand holdy about this game, the whole game is so hand holdy, your rival is there every 10 minutes pointing you to where to go next, it really made me dread seeing him.

but it is there,if thats what you want you can pick the hard/maddening mode and enjoy that, sure it wasnt there for the difficulty you picked, but that should be kinda a given, and saying its not there is kinda...
