No it doesn't. You're confusing it with Half Life. Either that or Bungie are just terrible at telling it. Sorry, but this is like saying Return of the Jedi sucks, because you haven't seen Empire Strikes Back or a New Hope. Why is it "terrible story telling" to assume the fans have played the previous games?   Perhaps a digster video that explained the previous events would have helped, but I see no reason to bog the game down covering the events that most players will already know. And yes, the story in Halo is better than Half Life's. "

• Platformer: Epic Mickey or Super Mario Galaxy 2
  
• FIghting: Super Street Fighter IV
  
• RTS: StarCraft II...duh
  
• Action/Adventure: Metroid Other M
  
• First-Person Shooter: Halo Reach or Crysis 2
  
• Rhythm: Rock Band 3
• Third-Person Shooter: Vanquish
  

Or is the gametrailers.com's user community just horrible? Seriously, I've never seen a game website's forum/user community worse than GT's. I like the site itself, but the community is either filled with; assholes, racists, homophobes, stupid people, elitists, fanboys (Has more fanboys than any gaming site), and a thousands of trolls. This can be said to any gaming website community, but this is one just stands out  the most with even creepy threads. I've saw one thread titled: "I just don't find black women attractive." and that shit made 27 pages! It's basically the 4chan of gaming website. Hell, it's even worse community than IGN.com and GameSpot's system wars.
