@simplysy: Actually, I think it still works quite well. You just have to take the scores in relation to other games in the genre. I think it would be hard to compare Far Cry to Street Fighter or XCOM even on a 100-point scale. But if you look at Far Cry as 3 stars compared to other games of its genre, it still conveys that I'm going to get an OK experience for an open-world action game.
