Metal Gear Solid 4 is in my book one of the greatest gaming experiences to be had, on any console, from any generation. The game ties up the story of so many unanswered questions from the previous games and brings it to one of the most epic finale's in gaming history. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is one of the most fun singleplayer experiences I've had in many many years, and Naughty Dog has just polished the heck out of the game in just about every aspect, it looks gorgeous, it plays like a dream. Bioshock was praised as a big step in the "game-as-art" movement, something the game absolutely should get credit for.
