As a PC user I'm excited to see games move beyond the console spec that's been fencing in development for the past wee bit. You can only re-install Crysis so many times you know?

Ok, here goes: This would have been early 90's, and on Windows 3.1. It's a tile based game where you can move NSEW, and when you move everything else moves. You pick an animal, and based on your choice (herbivore or carnivore) your goal is to either eat plants or other animals.

I think the carnivorous animals had a sort of a ranking system where some would beat the others, but I can only definitely remember the 'brown bear' being at the top of the food chain. One of the other animals was a lynx? Sometimes a hunter would be on the board and he would trump all other animals.

That's all I got...

Getting banned for that comment alone seems insane, but the instant twitter sideshow that's sprung up in this thread shows exactly why it's done. It's just so much easier to avoid the shit-show entirely.

Save yourself the pain and just don't load up the chat on videos. Giantbomb is just TV now, and that's fine.

Work on my Steam backlog during the quarantine they said... all good until this one came up. Not since Bound By Flame have a felt this angry about a game after finishing it.

It's a shame they couldn't do both. But reading the tenor of the twitter thread (of course it was fucking twitter) it seems fairly clear what abyss this fell into.

Name practically anything in Sekiro, but the final boss in particular. Don't discount Genichiro though. It seems so overwhelming at first, but once the mechanics are learned you can walk in there and dust it off first try. They re-enforce that right at the end where you have to repeat a phase of the Genichiro fight as a formality before the final boss. After all you've learned beating him is as easy as flushing a toilet at that point.

I think it's pretty neat so far (chapter 6). The script is whack, but I can get past that. The gameplay loop is extremely refreshing if you ask me.

The Outer Worlds for me. Not the game's fault, it's a perfectly serviceable budget title, but it was hyped so hard and so universally that I was expecting so much more.

//Note//It probably would have been Anthem if I had any expectations for it in the first place. I did not.
