There are definitely other faction logos in Transformers that are not Autobot/Decepticon or Maximal/Predacon.
The MERCENARIES logo (which looks kind of dumb) has most recently been used in certain angles of recent Transformers fiction represents, well, a merc faction!
I really hate being the sort of person that posts feedback on a podcast, especially somewhat negative feedback for a podcast that I quite enjoy typically, when the feedback I'm giving is "Hey stop being so negative!" but here we go:
I'm a little surprised that they chose to talk about things that they're so eh on so frequently.
I'd rather hear about things you like and can go deep on than hearing "I have no idea what this is!" every five minutes. There are a million ways for people to consume this information, you don't need to feel the need to recap it if you don't care about it. Or do a little more digging into what one might be talking about to be able talk about it more thoroughly.
The lack of KENTUCKY ROUTE ZERO in a lot of the GOTY conversations distresses me greatly.
Initially I didn't feel like this was a strong year for games, but then I realized that I left a few heavy hitters that didn't really resonate with me that hit others way harder, and still feel like I'm not scrounging for a top 10, which means this year must have been incredible.
1. FF7Remake 2. 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim 3. Kentucky Route Zero 4. Hades 5. Yakuza: Like a Dragon 6. Astro's Playroom 7. THPS1+2 8. Ori and the Will of the Wisps 9. Spider-Man: Miles Morales 10. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Honorable Mentions: Genshin Impact, the hundreds of hours I accidentally put into Fortnite, The Avengers' campaign, Carrion, Streets of Rage 4, Umurangi Generation.
Love the new format. Gives a more comprehensive view on the year in games and your thoughts on them instead of getting into arguments for awards that maybe didnt matter all that much anyway.
