Roguelike Adventures! (Twinkle Toes, Jerry, and Rambo)

I have decided to begin playing the ye olde 'Rogue' game for the DOS. This game is...surprisingly fun, and I intend on chronicling the lives of my rogues before their untimely demise. Humorously, these stories are real. I really love the game for that. Unfortunately though, I can take no personal attachment to my characters because they're all destined to die.  Please tell me if you enjoy these, or if you think they're stupid and I should not write these up, or whatever.

Twinkle Toes, the first of many doomed Rogues began his career inside a large room. Inside this room, was gold, and a magical potion he could not identify. Storing the gold and potion for later, he moved on into the next room, with nothing in it. Dissapointed, he moved into the next room...in which there was nothing. And he moved into the next room...in which there was absolutely nothing. Furiously, he ran through the dark hallway infront of him to the next room, in which he expected nothing. Instead, he found a frost dragon. Taking the most logical course of action when faced with a dragon, Twinkle Toes ran for his dear life, the Dragon chasing him through the hallways. This continued until he managed to bump into a goblin in the hallway. With the goblin preventing him from running any further, he was quickly gobbled up by the dragon. RIP: Twinkle Toes.

Rambo, the third of many doomed Rogues (We don't like to talk about the second one) began his career in a...very small room, with one gold piece in it. Happy to get what he could get, Rambo took it and moved on to the next room. Inside this room, he found 3 bats, 1 snake, and 1 kessel awaiting to kill him. Staying true to the man he was named after, Rambo could think of doing only one thing. Charging. He somehow...managed to win, and took only 2 damage during the fight. Astonishing. Using his confidence to bolster his movements through the dark dungeon, Rambo kept charging. The only thing that stopped him was a dark hallway that led to seemingly nowhere. But with his amazing roguelike abilities, he was able to spot it! Hooray Rambo! He then opened the door...

And stumbled into a room full of zombies. They all turned their attention to him. Rambo tried to charge them, but it was no use! There were just too many of them! After taking out 3 of them, he succumbed to their numbers. RIP: Rambo

Our fourth and final Rogue was Oswald, Oswald started humbly, with naught but a mace and food to help him in his quest to acquire large amounts of cash. Immediately upon entering the first room however, he encountered a scroll! His curiosity overcoming him, he decided to read it, and it felt as though something was watching over him. He decided to believe the mighty Luchadeer was watching over him, and carried on his quest. In the next room, he found a two-handed sword and a ruby red ring! Lucky him! Surely the great Luchadeer was on his side! He proceeded to carry through the dungeon, slaying anything in his way with his mighty two-handed sword.

He continued through the dungeon, eventually reaching the third floor! Inside the third floor, he stumbled upon a scroll of identification. Deciding to find out what that ring he picked up earlier was, he used the scroll on it. Much to his pleasure, it turned out to be a Ring of Teleportation! Hooray! Now he could teleport wherever he wanted...or so he thought.

The ring teleported him to another room once he put it on. Upon taking a step forward, he teleported. No matter what he did to move himself, he teleported. He eventually decided enough was enough and tried to take off the ring...but he couldn't! It was cursed! Osward continued teleporting until he died of starvation. RIP: Oswald.
