A Trip Down Memory Lane 0
Having played pretty much every wrestling game since WCW vs NWO World Tour on the N64 I once again set out on the road to championship gold in this latest installment from THQ. I already have Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and have played that game to death and first off I am glad that THQ did not just put out the same game again but has revamped the engine and put out what is in my opinion a great wrestling game and one that evokes many a happy memory of the bygone era of professional wrestling. Better than expected 0
I went into Star Wars Force Unleashed with a certain amount of trepidation. I had been really looking forward to the game but due to some unfavourable reviews which bemoaned lots of bugs I was not so sure it would be the game I had originally hoped. Thankfully my fears were mostly unfounded and I have really enjoyed playing through the game albeit as a rental. The best golfer gets the best game 0
This version of Tiger Woods is by far the most enjoyable I have played so far in the series. Previous to 09 coming out I always enjoyed 07 the most but the newest game gets the difficulty curve right and adds loads of new features to increase the games longevity. The biggest improvement comes from the fact that every shot you hit counts for something. At the end of every round you are assessed for your Power, Accuracy, Short game and Putting. Full of surprises 0
So this was a game which for me was full of surprises. Mainly because I actually enjoyed the game. Considering I had never played the original Super Smash Bros on the N64 and when I played Super Smash Bros Melee on the Gamecube I did not really like it.
