  • Fighting in Bayonetta > Fighting in God of War III  I'm sure the story will suck however.  The Japanese have the bad tendency to reveal 90% of their game's plot in the game's trailer, so many of us already know what happens.

  • On the ****** moon  I almost wish I hadn't see that footage.  The entire game I'm gonna be like, "when/how do I get into space".

  • Check out Jeff's half-muted reaction at 15:13  This also explains why this is coming out in Japan first.  You're not gonna see any bare bottom in the US release.  They gotta do some edits first.

  •  While I can not critique a game that hasn't been released yet, I have doubts about this game based on the direction the marketing department at Ubi.    Everyone knows the first installment of this series was repetitive.  The developers acknowledge this.  But it seems like their focus at least from a marketing standpoint has been, "We programed 15 different mission types this time instead of 3."   Kudos to ...

  • This video is ridiculous!   Never played a Tim Schafer game before, but after seeing this, I have no choice but to support the man.    "What's under the sack?""We work for Valve.  We were just testing you."Schafer punching the ScribbleNAUTS dude.  Deep down Schafer's like "bastard stole my naming convention, and my damn award"   I love this site so much that I had forgotten about how it all started, ...

  • @nail1080 said: "No destructable envioronments, linear maps, no good vehicle combat. This game does nothing new. "  I understand that it's not appealing to "jump on the bandwagon".  Fair enough if you did not like Call of Duty 4.  To say that the game does nothing new is pretty inaccurate.  Each trailer released shows at least a dozen NEW things that the game IN FACT does.    I can't pretend that ...

  • swampwalk replied to the topic Deathbird Battle Music in the X-Men board.
One of my absolute favorite video game tracks from the genesis era begins after you jump off the Shi'ar transport in the second level of the game.  I would often time my jump off the platform to coincide with the beginning of the track.  After a minute or so, the crazy synth stabs come in and I would love it as a little kid.  The Deathbird fight was pretty easy, ...

I really can't decide if I should get TWO 32" Samsung LCD TV's @ $499 each or get ONE 42" Samsung Plasma TV @ $699 and call it a day.

  • swampwalk replied to the topic Still playing after 16 years lol in the Kid Chameleon board.
You're not the only one!Any discussion I have with people about classic video games inevitably leads down a spiral toward Kid Chameleon.  I find it's the best genesis game that no one played, which is unfortunate."Whirly Bird", "Hatchet Man", and "Vacuum Cleaner", were my favorite costumes, which I came up with my own little names for.The game is ridiculously difficult at times, even on an emulator. This makes the moment ...

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm not shouting conspiracy or shenanigans on the part of Microsoft.  Since I don't have anything to play at the moment, I'm very interested in following the various banter that's been popping up this weekend regarding NXE.  The article here has some pretty interesting user experiences in the comment section following it.Some examples: David Jay Nov 19th, 2008 at 6:41 pm So, because a few people ...

  • predictions of NXE caused RRod:hereanecdotes:herehereherehereYeah...  I'm like many people who read forum post upon forum post regarding bricked 360's when the launch systems were having problems.  Like many I felt little sympathy for those affected.  "It's their own fault for buying first generation hardware", or "If they would just take care of their systems they would not be having this problem," is what I would sometimes think.  Karma's a bitch.

  • Less than 24 hours ago, after not being on XBox Live for a week, I downloaded the NXE console update.  I came home after work today and proceeded to make my own sweet avatar.  An hour ago I attempted to turn on my Xbox 360 to partake in some Left 4 Dead goodness. "No", says my xbox 360!Then it shows me what I can only assume is the 3 RRod.  ...

Simultaneously have Skid Row's "18 And Life" and Warren G's "Do You See" stuck in my head. Today's bound to be interesting.

Has anyone found a clever solution to solve Django's lack of a "ready-to-go" signal? Something that works with both web and mgmt commands?
