If Ron made a website with premium content..,..I'd buy. I'm currently in the market for one. Lol.

Why did they waste so much time on the recap of every game that came out this year? It's just watered down topical filler. Plus the no negative awards just isn't Giant Bomb. I mean Jeff is really good at hating on everything so the convos are always way more entertaining. Hottest mess and most disappointing were great awards. GB is starting to feel like another generic Gamespot.

Also, this year felt like the "every kid gets a trophy." year. MK11, COD and Ringfit just landed on the top 10 and Ben wanted Disco, Alex wanted Judgement. So that's half the list just dumped out there with little to no debate. Sekiro or Outer Worlds deserved a spot over half the games on the list.

Kinda low effort and like nobody wanted to be there towards the end.

@saddlebrown: I agree with this 100%

Jeff is just a pillar of negativity. It's hard to listen to someone be such a curmudgeon all the time about good/great games. I get being critical, but it's a very good game that has been crafted in a way that it feels like the devs put a lot into it.

Nothing is unique or ground breaking these days. Everything is becoming a soup of all genres. Everything has RPG elements. Everything is going open world. This entire gen has been about refinement and not being unique or revolutionary. I think this is the best game I've played this year and I think it has some incredible moments, the impact of the stranger fight is hard to not be on board with for a moment of the year. I never even liked god of war but I feel like this game is a GOTY contender so far. It feels like a game that took years to make. I can't stand how Jeff just writes shit off so fast. Especially when Brad is quietly asking how far he's gotten and asks him to play more than three hours to actually maybe get a glimpse of an informed opinion. Not to mention it was directly after this interview and Jeff and Jason just shit on it in so many ways. The Bombcast seems to only have one professional left on it. Brad is the only one that actually seems excited about games and speaks of any of them with a real reverence. Jason just seems like he wants a GoW to be the old games. Jeff says he wants the opposite but still trashes this game and only plays a small fraction of it and starts judging the characters relationship. Everyone is more concerned saying what they dislike and driving the point home far more than what's good about the games.

I honestly look forward to Beastcast episodes way more than the Bombcast. Beastcast feels like a great Friday morning. Bombcast is like a sewing circle of old ladies complaining.

If you try to keep count of Jeff saying negative shit in one podcast you'll lose your mind and ask does this person even like games?
