For those who have tendinitis, do you have any hope of it going away? I think I'm developing or have it myself and it makes me worried. Even more worried because DMC5 is coming up and that's not a very tendinitis friendly game.
The politics around it seemed like a non-issue blown out of proportion by all different sides including the devs themselves. For the game itself, I heard the story was good and you actually feel like a normal guy peasant at the start instead of some super warrior. I wanna try it out sometime
It's not too much different than the original's scenarios other than the fact there were four of them that were slightly different instead of two. Though I could understand wanting improvement from the past, technically it's holding true to the original. Would have been cool to have a completely different run though.
@mercutio123: What you're feeling is what regular DMC fans felt. They would have been better off making it a spin off or different game than using the mainline DMC brand. Also you played the worst game to introduce you to the old series. DMC3 is the peak of the series. DMC4 has a lot of problems.
DmC has the fundamental problem of not being anywhere as complex as the older games which reached fighting game levels of complexity. If it had been a different game or spin off then it would have been completely fine as it's own standalone
