The new remake of the original Bionic Commando for the NES has gotten me very excited.  I love the idea of making a true remake of a classic game, not a BS revisioning like so many live arcade games and such.  It looks like the developers are really getting it right this time - they seem to understand the true retro appeal a proper remake can have.
