It just sounds like it's important for you that he tow the line with his "opinions" and not have a well supported independent thought of his own. Do you not want reviewers to be honest? If you have a differing opinion fine. Maybe listen to another reviewer then, but don't give him shit merely for going against the grain. Don't see the point.
The point is, Jeff is oftentimes negative about games that people and media at large like and that it's very funny to me how predicable he is in that regard.
It's like he loves to hate games that are very popular and always tends to find little things that in his opinion are absolute deal-breakers, but don't really matter that much in the grand scheme of things and he can never get past his first thought/argument and will never like that game even if it changes/is fixed later.
He's a mainstream downer is what I was trying to say. :)
The issue I had wasn't whether he liked it or not, it's a complex world with animation priority, of course he'll hate it, Jeff loves games that feel more at home in arcade cabinets. That's cool, that's his taste. I just felt like he sucked the fun out of this video when he showed up, it even showed in his posture and body language. I'm guessing it was unintentional and he's just having a bad day, happens to us all.
