A brief introduction

I play games. I have for a long time, and I really enjoy doing so,...

It all started back in the 80's when I got my first taste of sweet adventure in the original legend of Zelda at about age 5. Its been game on ever since almost religiously. Today I still enjoy playing the classics and pop them into the ol' NES every once in awhile just to remember the awesome games that started it all.  In the early days I had the NES. SNES,  and Genesis. Of course with the Gameboy and Gamegear as my portable options. Later I would get an N64 and Gameboy color to ooh and ahh me in my teen years, and what a treat Ocarina of Time was at that age! My favorite game for a long time,...until Oblivion came along that is.
Some of my other favorite titles from this time in my life would be the Marios, Megamans, Turtles, Final Fantasies, Goldeneye, Turok's, and lastly but quite fondly would be the Resident Evil series.

There was also an age of PC for me along with the PS2 and Xbox during my high school years. Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Halo, and Final Fantasy X were my favorite games from those days, and I would still consider them as some of the best I have ever played. I was also able to play the original Doom multi-player with my friends which got me hooked on multi-player gaming at a young age even before it was the call of duty thing to do. heh.

As you can see I have been playing for quite some time, almost 2 decades to be exact. These days I'm playing mostly the Xbox 360 and almost every genre of game for it imaginable. I also keep a wide angle eye on the rest of the things going on in games, from motion controls and dlc, to arcade sticks and after market headsets. Look for some interesting bits from me here and there on those types of things, and anything else I might think or feel like writing about pertaining to games. I'll see you in cyber space!

Peace.
