Project Cars Playstation 4 Review 0

The Intro:Simulators are notorious for having a punishing learning curve. They mostly appeal only to the hardcore fans of the genre they’re simulating. Project CARS is a simulator, and by its very nature, it won’t appeal to everyone. The casual gamer who doesn’t really care too much about the nitty-gritty of handling a car or how it is put together, or the physics of racing a monstrous vehicle at breakneck speeds won’t find too much to enjoy here. There aren’t too ...

The Last Tinker: City of Colors Playstation 4 Review 0

The Intro:The first thing you might find yourself thinking when you start playing The Last Tinker: City of Colors is “I’ve seen that before.” This game is a collection of gameplay mechanics taken from various other platforming games, and unfortunately, none of those mechanics are executed particularly well here. The game looks great at first sight, and is full of bright colors and good-looking landscapes. But once you actually start moving around the world, you’ll find t...

Tales From Space Mutant Blobs Attack Xbox 360 Review 0

The Intro:Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack was originally introduced on the Vita in 2012, and it immediately entertained gamers with its weird mix of fresh, retro designs and enjoyable puzzle action. Now, two years later, the Mutant Blobs have made their way onto the Xbox360 and it’s refreshing to see that not much has been lost in translation. The original’s sense of fun and wackiness still remains intact, although introducing it onto bigger and more powerful consoles has brou...

Release Date: 2014 | Players: Single-player| Genre: Shooter | Console: Xbox Live Arcade, Xbox OneThe Intro:Science, and by extension, science fiction, has always been obsessed with the idea of time and traveling through it. Some of the greatest sci-fi tales, both in the written word and on the silver screen, have been about time travels, and the hijinks that inevitably ensue because of it. Every sci-fi time travel story has its own internal logic, and there are some that might shock you with th...

You’re starting up your career, and you don’t have the money to afford the most spacious apartment. One of your friends has a pool table in their basement. Another one has a countertop mini-bar. Now, if you had to guess, one of your other friends’ apartments would automatically qualify for hosting a fun party, right? Wrong. ...

Deus Ex: The Fall Review for PC 0

The Intro:The original Deus Ex was a landmark achievement in gaming. The open-ended gameplay, the element of choice, and the fantastic story and dialogue melded to create a truly next-level experience. Since then, the franchise has fallen off the perch a bit. The newest game in the series, Deus Ex: The Fall is both a prequel and a sequel. Yes, that isn’t a typo. The Fall follows the events of Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, a novel which predates the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. But in ter...
